30 Years building Mozambique

In the interest of strengthening its role in the real-estate and construction sectors, Insitec acquired, in May 2011, CETA, a leading company in the construction business with over three decades of experience and nationwide implementation.

With this acquisition Insitec consolidated its position in the Mozambican market, took control over the country’s largest fleet of vehicles and machinery and gained over 2500 employees, a number which is expected to rise to 4000 by 2013.

The integration of CETA also allows Insitec to move into specific areas of construction, such as public contracts, buildings, roads, concrete and steel structures, water supply, sanitation, draining and production of materials, in which the company specializes.

Even though it operates all over the country, CETA is more noticeably present in the northern regions. The provinces of Tete and Cabo Delgado account for over 50% of its contract portfolio.

The acquisition of this company confirms Insitec’s strategy for growth and expansion. The group continues to be set on showing the world that Mozambique has a word to say about the future, never forgetting that, for us, the future is now!

With the acquisition of CETA, Insitec consolidated its position in the Mozambican market.
